November 2011 - FreeBen V6.0 Released
The Pensions Bill 2011 passed into legislation on 3rd November 2011, and as part of this the timetable for equalising pension ages between men and women and subsequently increasing them to 66 was accelerated.
FreeBen v6.0 was released in response to this, with an updated Retirement Age calculator that enables advisors to quickly and easily check their clients retirement date and to provide them with a brief report explaining the changes.
October 2011 - FreeBen shortlisted in Equity Release Awards

November 2010- FreeBen launched in Northern Ireland
FreeBen Version 5 was released on 1st November 2010, incorporating analysis of Means Tested Benefits in Northern Ireland.
February 2010- FreeBen added to Exweb portal
FreeBen has been added to the Exchange Exweb portal, with a link to the FreeBen service from the Equity Release section of Exweb.
July 2009-Assureweb announces partnership with FreeBen
